Take a Hike in Park City
1. Armstrong Trail
Armstrong Trail is an intermediate-level Park City hike. This trail features four miles of rugged terrain and consistent incline. This multi-use trail is popular for Park City mountain biking and hiking! However, bikers can only traverse the trail uphill, while hikers are welcome to either direction. If you’d like to split off to another adventure, this trail splits off to others like the Mid-Mountain Trail.
2. Mid-Mountain Trail
The Mid-Mountain Trail is a great destination for seasoned hikers! This intermediate-level hike features uneven terrain that requires serious conditioning. The trail is located at an elevation of about 8,000 feet, so it’s important to get used to the mountain air first. While challenging, this Park City hike boasts spectacular views of forests with aspens and pines, wildflowers, and more. It’s a great spot to access panoramic views of Park City!
3. Utah Olympic Park
The Utah Olympic Park Loop is the perfect Park City hike for families! This 2.2-mile loop follows a mostly clear dirt route around Olympic Park. It’s a family-friendly hiking trail and is a great spot to explore with the kids or for a leisurely morning jog! Of course, you can’t bring the kids without stopping inside the adventure park!
4. Jordanelle Reservoir Trail
The Jordanelle Reservoir is known for its water activities, but did you know that there’s much fun to be had on land, too? The Jordanelle Reservoir Trail winds along the reservoir for 29.1 miles! This lightly trafficked trail offers unmatched views and is often used for horseback riding!
